The IBM Retail User Group has reserved a discounted block of rooms at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort at the rate of $169. The group will receive complimentary in-room high speed internet access for all attendees.
The hotel is located in Summerlin, NV at the foot of the Spring Mountain Range in northwest Las Vegas. Quiet and dotted with golf courses, Summerlin represents a complete contrast to the bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, though the famous entertainment district and McCarran International Airport are less than a 25-minute drive away.

Our group rate is $169 per night, single/double occupancy, plus tax. Group rates are available throughout the conference as well as three days before and three days after, based on availability. Attendees receive complimentary guestroom high-speed internet access. Attendees also receive a ten percent (10%) discount on spa treatments at the Aquae Sulis Spa, Monday through Thursday. Reduced entry to the Spa Fitness and Wellness Center from $25 to $12.50 per person per day. This fee is waived with a Spa Treatment, excluding waxing. The Resort currently has a 24-hour, key entry facility, in our Palms Tower which is available at no cost for our guests.
Complimentary shuttle service to/from the Strip. This is a 29-passenger van and is available on a first-come-first serve basis.
Air Lines:
McCarran International Airport is served by most US domestic carriers and a wide selection of international airlines.
Discounted car rentals are available with Hertz. Hertz Rental Car is conveniently located at the Resort. The rental car desk is
open Monday - Friday. Cars rented at the Resort may be dropped off at the Orlando International Airport for no additional charge. Special discount meeting rates start from a daily Compact rate of $21.00 (weekends) and a weekly Compact rate of $169.00 for 5-7 days. Rates are guaranteed one week before through one week after the meeting dates, subject to car availability; unlimited mileage is included.

Please note, when reservations are booked, the enclosed rates will be automatically compared to Hertz published rates to ensure your attendees receive the best comparable rates. Shuttle Service: The JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort is 16 miles from the McCarran International Airport. Car rental and taxi services are available there. There is no available shuttle service from the airport. However, the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort does offer shuttle service through their concierge for guests traveling to the airport only. THe fee is $30 one way and can be reserved 24 hours in advance from the front desk or the concierge. The fare for a taxi from the airport to the hotel is usually about $60 one way.
The Resort will offer a complimentary transportation for the group. It will consist of 5 hours transportation (consecutive round robin) from McCarran International Airport to the Resort (only) on Sunday, May 20th. The Resort will allocate two (2) motor coaches to shuttle from the airport to the resort approximately every 30 to 45 minutes. The coaches will be 29 passenger shuttles on a first come first served basis.
Ground Transportation:
Taxis are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-4. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers. Taxi fare to the hotel is approximately $60. Alternate transportation: Personal Sedan Service (Phone: 702-248-7706); fee: $69 USD (one way) ;reservation required.

Hotel Parking: Both self-parking and valet parking is complimentary at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort for all attendees
Directions from McCarran Airport
Follow I-215 W (keep to right at fork), Merger Right On I-15 North, Continue 9 Miles. Merge Right To US95 North. Continue For 7 Miles. Exit Right On Summerlin Park (exit 81a) Exit Onto Rampart Blvd., Turn Left On Rampart, Turn Right Onto Canyon Run Drive, Turn Right Into Resort.
Alternate Directions from McCarran Airport
Take Interstate 215 West from the airport and get on Interstate 15 North (Salt Lake). From Interstate 15, get on Expressway 95 North (Reno) and take the Summerlin Parkway West exit. Then take the Rampart Boulevard exit and make a left onto Rampart Boulevard and stay in the right lane. Turn right at your first light onto Canyon Run Drive and then turn right into the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort at the Spa Tower Entrance.
